Mobile communication system has undergone many major changes since the beginning of analog system.After many years of commercial use,LTE,the fourth generation mobile communication system has made a qualitative leap in communication stability and data transmission rate compared with the first generation analog mobile communication system,the second generation GSM/CDMA system and the third generation WCDMA/CDMA2000/TD-SCDMA system.However,LTE network in China is deployed in high frequency band.Its coverage area of single base station is smaller and the coverage depth is limited.After years of deployment by telecommunication operators,the breadth coverage of LTE network has basically met the market demand,but the deep coverage in complex environment has always been a huge challenge to operators.Based on the TD-LTE networks,this paper studies the coverage scenarios of complex networks such as urban villages,urban streets and CBD business circles in Xiamen city.Firstly,this paper introduces the key technologies of TD-LTE network coverage,such as LTE network architecture,TDD duplex,TD-LTE wireless frame structure and multi-antenna technologies.At the same time,two traditional network coverage modes and TD-LTE network coverage capability are analyzed.Secondly,the characteristics of weak coverage in TD-LTE network in different complex scenarios such as urban villages,urban streets and business circles are collected and sorted out.New coverage modes such as RAS coverage,micro-base station coverage and D+F double-layer network are proposed,and the application scenarios of different coverage modes are explained in detail.Finally,taking several typical scenarios of Xiamen city as an example,the deployment and test results of the new coverage modes of TD-LTE are introduced.
