Research On Open Data Management Mode Of Library For Digital Humanities

Digital Humanities has provided a new perspective and methodology for scientific research because it combines information technology with traditional humanities,and has gradually become a research hotspot in various fields.The development of digital humanities must rely on multi-source data,and the library as a treasure house of human resources has provided a natural advantage in the provision of humanistic data resources,moreover,with the development of big data,the focus of library development is also turning to the construction of data libraries.Providing data management and knowledge discovery services has become an inevitable requirement and trend for the development of library services.Because digital humanities have the characteristics of knowledge discovery,the data involved in the project process is extremely valuable.If it can be reused and re-excavated,it will make a great contribution to the growth of human knowledge.Under this circumstance,it is extremely important to popularize the data in the research of digital humanities projects.At present,many libraries and research institutions have set up digital humanities centers to carry out research on digital humanities projects,they provide users a wider range of services,at the same time exploit and utilize their own resources.However,mass of reusable data has not been maintained effectively by the research institutions after the end of projects,resulting in data loss and cannot be reused.Therefore,library as a knowledge service institution with decades of experience in data management,data opening and data platform construction,it can not only provide the management for opening data of digital humanities,but also guarantee the value-added of data on the premise of technical means and knowledge organization.Based on the above ideas,this paper combs and summarizes the research and practice of digital humanities and data opening in domestic and overseas.And it clarifies the necessity and goal of data opening management for digital humanities.According to the management goals of opening up to public,data simplification and resource integration,it constructs management process from driving preparation to management operation and to application of results focused on digital humanities library.Then,the framework of the management has been constructed according to the main body involved in the process,it expounds four steps in management mode in details from data collection to data opening maintenance.Finally,based on the established model of operation processing,the paper summarizes and compares between the operation process of the Related Jazz Project abroad and the Genealogy Database Project in China.Meanwhile,it will bring relevant experience and enlightenment for the future management practice of the library.
