Open Content And Its Application In Our Country Digital Library Resources Management

Human beings are gradually entering the information society. In the informationsociety, with the deepening development of information industry,the value ofinformation resources will continue to rise, traditional intellectual property protectionsystem will create barriers to public access to obtain information resources. Therefore,controlling the cost of information resources will produce incalculable social benefits.Open content is an effective way to solve the contradiction between knowledgeexclusively private interests and knowledge sharing in the public interest. A certainextent, it’s also can reduce the threshold of public access to obtain informationresources. This paper research open content in a systematic way, to trace the originand development of the open content movement to make a detailed analysis of thenature and meaning of the open content, and open content is defined as the differentforms of content placed on any copyleft agreements and content can be in variousforms to shared. Roughly categorized and summarized for open content according tothe different areas of the development process of the open content movement.There are many problems in resource management of digital libraries in China,the main problem is still unable to break through the limitations of the traditionalintellectual property on the works of network transmission right, The right ofreproduction and the right of interpretation. This paper investigate the open contentapplication in the development of domestic and foreign research to find out themeeting point of open content application instance with the basic spirit of the ChinaDigital Library, investigate the feasibility and reasonable will China digital librariesintroduction open contents in resource management. Structured discussion theimplementation of specific strategies which open content apply in the digital libraryresources management,and provide a reference to implementation of standardizedmanagement,expand the scale of social influence of digital libraries in China.
