A Study On The Development And Service Of Digital Humanities

With the rapid development of information technology,multimedia processing technology and network technology,as well as the wide popularity of internet and personal computer,a growing number of humanities scholars have started to use digital technology in their research,then the field of digital humanities has emerged gradually,which is a typical interdisciplinary field.Digital humanities can promote the spread of the humanities knowledge popularization,bring brand-new teaching and research method in humanistic disciplines,can also liberate scholars from the complex and inefficient basic work and focus on the research of knowledge discovery.In recent years,Europe and the United States have made good progress,set up many digital humanities research center,various digital humanities projects have also been successfully launched.These have accumulated certain theoretical and practical experience for digital humanities research,which can be a powerful reference for the development of domestic digital humanitiesIn this study,the author made a bibliometric analysis of digital humanities at home and abroad The author sets Web of Science core data as the abroad literature data sources,including SCl-E,SSCI and A&HCI,and chooses article for document type,got 550 valid data,selects CNKI database as domestic literature data sources,including CSSCI,Core journals,SCI journals and EI source journals,got 113 valid data.Using literature measurement,citation analysis with Citespacc,VOSviewer and Echarts visual tools,based on the clarification of this concept,the paper carried out visual representation.Then through the website of the relatively mature digital humanities research institutions at home and abroad to investigate and analyze its development characteristics.SWOT-PEST analysis model is used to analyze the development factors that influencing the development of digital humanistic research institutions,then this paper constructed an analysis and evaluation matrix.Finally,the author combined with the TAM model designed a questionnaire to investigate domestic digital humanities on the situation and demand of service,then based on analyze of the results,puts forward suggestions to the further development of digital humanities in China.The contributions of this paper:a)this paper conducted a comprehensive and systematic bibliometric analysis of digital humanities;b)this paper constructed an analysis and evaluation matrix;c)this paper investigated the situation and demand of service of domestic digital humanities,and puts forward suggestions to the further development of digital humanities in China.
