| Under the background of aging society and Smart products,Smart TV,as a more common Smart device in family life,is gradually changing the life of the elderly.With the continuous popularity of Smart television,the elderly have gradually become the main users of Smart television.However,at present,the interface design of Smart TV is complex,and the function matches the needs of the elderly is low,which seriously affects the experience of elderly users.In order to solve these two problems,this paper puts forward the design strategy of Smart TV for the elderly from the perspective of interface design suitable for elderly people,as well as functions and contents that are suitable for elderly people.Based on cognitive psychology,this paper analyzes the cognitive needs of elderly users and the interface design elements that affect the use of Smart TV by elderly users,and puts forward the interactive design principles of Smart TV interface for the elderly.Through the analysis of the needs of the elderly for the aged and the content of television,combined with the equipment characteristics of Smart television for the elderly,the function and content of Smart television for the elderly are replanned.Finally,the research results are evaluated and verified through the design practice of Hisense Smart TV for the elderly.The main research contents are as follows:first,the development of Smart television and the application of cognitive psychology are summarized,and the current research status of Smart television and cognitive psychology is summarized.Secondly,the core basic theory of cognitive psychology is expounded and the functions of cognition in design and research methods are concluded.Besides,contents of the research on elderly cognition are introduced,including perception,attention and memory,based on which,the characteristics of elderly cognition are also analyzed.Next cognitive needs of the elderly are summarized and a cognitive need model of the elderly is designed.Thirdly,after defining the concept of Smart TV,the characteristics of large screen and remote control of Smart TV are analyzed.Then from the aspects of interactive mode,interface layout,information hierarchy and visual design,interface interactive design elements of Smart TV are dissected and the design contents of Smart TV for the elderly are summarized.Then through analyzing deficiencies in Smart old-age care devices and old-age care function of existing Smart TV,the design goals of Smart TV for the elderly is clarified.Fourthly,based on a questionnaire survey,user interviews and role setting,content preference and old-age care demands of the elderly users for Smart TV are analyzed and prioritized by using Kano model,with a view to redesigning the contents and functions of Smart TV for the elderly.Then,through eye movement cognition experiment and statistical analysis,the age-appropriate research on interface layout,information hierarchy and color form of Smart TV is carried out,and the principles of interface interaction design for elderly Smart TV are proposed.Fifthly,the research findings are applied into practice through the design practice of Hisense elderly Smart TV and the feasibility of the research is verified through eye movement evaluation and Post-Study System Usability Questionnaire(PSSUQ).In this paper,the interactive design of Smart TV interface and the cognitive research of the elderly are combined to enhance the user experience of the elderly using Smart TV,provide a reference for the design and research of the elderly television in the future,and promote the development of the television industry to a certain extent.At the same time,against the backdrop of aging society,the combination of pension needs and Smart television function improves the quality of life of the elderly people and has important practical significance to alleviate the pressure of old-age care and help to build a harmonious society. |
