With the development of science and technology, and the advances in economic level, medical technology and people’s quality of life, a gradual increase in the trend of the aging of the population has become increasingly evident. Accompanied by the aging of the population is the pension problem of the elderly. At the same time, a new round of scientific and technological revolution based on the information and communication technology is flourishing. This promotes all aspects of human economic and social life undergoing a fundamental transformation. It becomes the current hot spots that how to develop all types of mobile services and information services system based on mobile internet and intelligent terminal equipment.In our project, we will apply mobile Internet technology and smart terminal technology to the elderly services, that is, to create a menu-style platform for the community elderly pension by means of information technology. On this platform, we can provide the elderly for secure and high-quality services through the joint of the service providers and community workstations, and finally, solve the hot livelihood issues of community elderly pension.In this project, we develop the terminal system primarily through the Android technology. We collected needs of the elderly through research, classified those needs, and then deployed to web platform and android pad by technology of ruby on rails and android. We also establish an electronic health record for the community elderly. Finally we deployed the entire system to the elderly community. We treat the community workstations staff as the management of the system, and businesses that had been under a rigorous assessment of the community as service providers. First, the elderly choose service simply by web network or pad. Second, when the service needs is passed to the system, managers receive the service requirement through the system notification, and then sent it to the service providers. Third, service providers receive the dispatch notice and provide onsite services for the elderly immediately. This project makes the entire community endowment smarter and more innovative. We believe that there is a good potential of our project.
