Non-state-owned museums are playing an increasingly important role in the construction of our museum system and becoming an important part of our cultural life.At present,with the development of social economy and the continuous liberalization of national cultural policies,non-state-owned museums have mushroomed in China.However,because of the short development time,the relevant supporting policies are not yet perfect.The scale of non-state-owned museums in China are generally small and non-standard.To some extent,it also brings many disadvantages such as the limited function of cultural services.With its profound cultural heritage,strong collection atmosphere and strong economic strength,Hangzhou has become a typical example of the development of non-state-owned museums in the developed regions.This paper hopes to investigate the non-state-owned museums in Hangzhou to understand the real development status of non-state-owned museums in China,and to think rationally about the development strategies of non-state-owned museums in China from the perspective of historical stages and development environment.At the same time,this paper also hopes to expand the thinking about new ideas and models for developing non-state-owned museums in economically developed regions,such as non-state-owned museums creative garden under cluster operation,and so on,promoting non-state-owned museums play a greater role in cultural communication,public education and scientific research.
