When the author was in the study of some professional courses, such as the science of cultural relics and museology, I am so interested in the museum studies. After the museum ordinance promulgated in 2015, with the development of the non-state-owned museum again brought to the attention of the relevant personnel. But after consulting the relevant materials, the author found that the study of non-state-owned museums in the country is still relatively weak, and the non-state-owned museum study in Hefei or Anhui province is even rarer. So after discussing with the tutor, the author selects "the research of Hefei non-state-owned museums" this topic as my graduation thesis research content.The author mainly through the study on the existing literature, on the basis of the field visit and interview, with the combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis method, the museology and other related disciplines of study, combing of the development of Anhui Hefei non-state-owned museums, to explore the significance of its existence, problems and countermeasures and suggestions. First, through various channels to collect data, including paper documents and electronic network data; and then, summarizing literature, providing a basis for thesis writing; through the field visit, interview to collect related data; in the final, analyzing problems and putting forward suggestions.Abroad study of the non-state-owned museum much earlier than us, some of abroad non-state-owned museum has become influential and big brands, such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim museum. Study abroad museum, absorb their experiences to our country the construction and development of private museum has important reference value. Domestic academic circles on the overall also is less, non-state-owned museum related work is not much, mainly on paper. Including the overall study on the national museum of non-state and local non-state-owned museums, the author didn’t find out about Anhui province or in various cities and counties of the related research works of private museum. So, on the basis of non-state-owned museum research, the author combined with the actual situation and investigated Anhui Hefei non-state-owned museum itself to fill the blank in the research of non-state-owned museum in Anhui province.The non-state-owned museum is an important part of Chinese museum industry; Anhui Hefei ranked among the top in the province; Study of Hefei non-state-owned museums has important value and significance for the development of Anhui non-state museums. This paper discusses the basic concept, the meaning and elements of the museum, non-state-owned museum; Combing the development history of non-state-owned museums, including four stages:creating, fault, preliminary development and rising; analyzing the reasons of the development of Hefei non-state-owned museums including three aspects:cultural, economic, political; through field visits and information integration, summarizing the basic situation of the Hefei non-state-owned museum, including the name of the non-state-owned museum, founder, opening time, number of collection, collection types, to analysis the distribution of the Hefei non-state-owned museum, operating mode, building, object, as well as the characteristics of audience service; Affirming the Hefei non-state-owned museum in promoting the cause of museum, inheriting and protecting cultural heritage, the role of participation in public cultural services, and pointing out its existing problems such as internal and external policy, capital, talent; finally proposing a few measures to help sustainable development of Hefei non-state-owned museums.
