With the popularity and application of mobile Internet and new media,various social software emerges one after another.In China,We Chat has penetrated into the comprehensive information service platform from instant messaging tools and is active in all aspects of people's lives.According to the 2016 China Social Application User Behavior Research Report released by China Internet Network Information Center(CNNIC)in 2017,the We Chat netizen coverage rate reached 89.3% in December 2016,which is related to the high popularity of We Chat.The spread of rumors.We chat has the characteristics of semi-closedness and privacy.Under this influence,it is easy to become a hotbed of rumors,spreading in the social circle,forming an unpredictable situation,or gathering into network sensation,or changing the situation of public opinion.What is more,it will cause social panic or group incidents,affecting the country's long-term stability.Governing We Chat rumors has been extremely urgent and has become an important topic in the current field of news communication.This paper takes We Chat rumors as the research object,and studies from the perspective of communication mechanism to analyze the role of each element in the process of communication.It explores how the four static elements of communication subject,communication motivation,communication path and communication content exist and influence all aspects of dynamic information dissemination,and promote and strengthen rumors.The author first sorts out the general situation of We Chat rumors,and makes a basic statement on its communication subject and communication motivation.Then through the text analysis of We Chat rumors,the content characteristics are clarified.Secondly,the four hot rumors that have caused great influence on the We Chat platform in recent years are taken as a case to analyze the generation and dissemination of We Chat rumors.Finally,combined with the content of the previous analysis,summed up the current governance problems of We Chat rumors and proposed a timely and effective governance strategy,which can rely on big data and pre-destruction;introduce third-party rumors,comprehensive management of multiple subjects;improve the punishment system,Quantify the object of punishment;use the rumor platform to increase the arbitrage rate and so on.
