Folk Archives Research From The Perspective Of Rural Memory

Folk archives are the archival materials formed by masses of people in daily production and lives,which contain region customs,traditions,lifestyles,etc.They are the important supplementary form of official archives and historical basis for cultural heritage of a country and a nation.Rural memory refers to the memory maintained and passed on by the villages or villagers in a certain geographical range,including the memory of the development of rural history,and the emotional identification and transmission memory of the villagers.It is one of the main ways to cognize local history and traditional culture.The folk archives,which are widely scattered in the rural underclass society of our country,bear rich rural memory with their truest social record,and build an important cultural bridge between the past and the future of rural development.The existing folk archives are the key carriers of "Remember to live in homesickness and stay in the countryside".The rational development and utilization of these archives are not only conducive to the further deepening of scientific research and archival work,but also to raising the archival consciousness of the vast number of rural people,and have more conducive to the realization of rural civilization,accelerating the promotion of rural revitalization strategy.First of all,on the basis of previous studies,this paper makes a relatively clear definition of folk archives,social memory,rural memory,rural archives,contract documents and other related concepts are also elaborated in detail.Then,from the perspective of rural memory theory,this paper analyzes the necessity,feasibility and advantages of constructing rural memory as well as analyzes the value of folk archives memory retained in rural society.Next,taking the folk contract documents in Tumed area of Inner Mongolia in Qing Dynasty as an example,this paper introduces the multiple historical reasons and the overall contents and forms,and analyzes the concrete contents of the Tumed contract documents carefully.Summarizing and counting the number of nouns appearing therein,and combining the existing official historical records to explore the traditional rural memory contained in the Turned.This paper makes a detailed discussion from the memory of the immigrants,the Mongols,the agricultural production from nomadic to agricultural development,rural folk memory,clan culture memory these five aspects.The purpose of this paper is to provide a new theoretical perspective and research direction for the development of folk archives in the future,to accelerate the implementation of the strategy of rural revitalization,and to inherit and carry forward the excellent rural traditional culture.
