Research For Improving The Public Service Of Lucheng District Archives With Informationization

Archives which are the original records of various social activities have very important evidence and information value,and the public archives which is the organization responsible for the collection,management,storage and use of archives shoulders the responsibilities of mining archival value and providing archival public service.In today's society,with the proposal of “service-oriented government”,the prominence of importance of archival public service and the gradual strengthening of the demand for public archives,the development of public service of public archives is facing new challenges.Fortunately,informationization brings opportunities for the promotion of public service of archi ves.The research object of this paper--Lucheng District Archives of Wenzhou Country has made some achievement in informationization constructiong,providing support for its public service development,but its public services still has shortcomings.The paper will use the methods of literature research,field investigation,and statistical analsis to analyze the public service status of Lucheng District Archives of Wenzhou Country under the background of informationization.Some problems such as imbalance between source and type structure of collection of archives,too single online service channel,many service items insufficient,maladjustment between service personnel incompatible with new requirements and the lack of corresponding growth in service funds are found.The reasons of the existence of the problem lie in the insufficient understanding of public demand under the informatization background,the inadequate collection and collection of archives,the lack of performance management and incentive system,the restriction of talent introduction and the difficulty in obtaining financial support due to the weak power in the department.Finally,this paper puts forward five countermeasures for the improvement of public service of the Archive of Lucheng District of Wenzhou Country in the information Age:(1)Establishing demand orientation and fully realizing the new demands of the public;(2)Increasing the strengthen to collect and receipt files,so as to achieve the balance of the file structure of the Archive;(3)Implementing performance management and encouragement mechanism to improve the enthusiasm of service personals;(4)Innovating the way of talents introduction and enhancing the training of personals to meet the new requirements in the information Age;(5)Adopting multiple ways to access more financial support,thus to support the service development strongly.The research of this paper will help Lucheng District Archives of Wenzhou Country to improve service ability under the informatization background,enhance service quality and optimize public image,which brings more convenience and benefits for the public and provide reference for other archives as well.
