As the largest mobile service operator in China,China Mobile plays a leading role in the evolution of mobile communication technology and actively participates in the evolution of third generation communication technology to fourth generation and higher technology.TD-SCDMA,as a technology developed independently in our country,has laid a foundation for the upgrading of later technology and has acquired a large number of independent property rights in network terminals,chips and other aspects.As the fourth generation communication technology TD-LTE,it has reached the advanced level that can compete with LTE FDD in technology and basically has the conditions for scale application.TD-SCDMA technology lags behind other products of the same generation in the process of application and cannot meet the requirements of a higher level of application.In order to make up for the technical defects,China Mobile Communications Group has started to promote TD-LTE business in an all-round way since 2013.Although there are still shortcomings in technology and defense,the gap is not large.Through its own number of stations,network optimization and other advantages,it has reached the level of LTE FDD network parity.On this basis,China Mobile Group has carried out research and development of 5G technology and has started pilot work in some cities across the country,planning to commercialize it formally in 2020.I believe that in the near future,China's leading TD-LTE mobile communication technology will truly integrate into the international mainstream technology and be popularized and applied worldwide.This paper first introduces the background of TD-LTE development and the significance of its existence,and gives a detailed description of the standardization process of TD-LTE as well as the requirements and architecture of the system.TD-LTE is a wireless network based on OFDM and MIMO technologies to realize high-speed data transmission.The planning and coverage principles of the wireless network are described in detail in the actual construction.Taking S city as an example,this paper introduces the matters needing attention in the process of engineering design.As well as the feasibility and necessity of co-construction and sharing with GSM/DCS network.This paper puts forward the engineering design scheme of TD-LTE network co-construction and sharing in S city.
