TWR(through wall radar)is kind of radar which transmit electromagnetic wave through walls to detecting moving targets.It is used in disaster relief,anti-terrorism,medical and other fields.The modern TWR got the characteristic of excellent imaging function,strong real-time processing ability,miniaturization and portability.As an important part of TWR,the display and control system is an embedded system which takes the responsibilities of radar configuration,integrated display and human-computer interaction.On the one hand,the display control system receives the underlying data and presents it to the user,on the other hand,it receives the instruction from the user and transmits the instruction to the signal processing system.From the perspective of modernization through wall radar characteristics,this paper design and implemented a portable radar display and control system based on the modern image processing technology,the method of software design,computer and electronic technology.First of all,according to the problem of original radar image resolution does not match the screen,the paper designed a blocked interpolation algorithm based on CFAR detection while considering the contradiction of common interpolation algorithm and the system's hardware processor's insufficient computing power,and did quantitative analysis of the results and effectiveness of the blocked interpolation algorithm.Also,according to the suppression from strong target to weak target on image's visual effects,the paper designed a target area image enhancement algorithm based on the CFAR detection to enhance the weak target,while,this algorithm also takes the processor's insufficient computing power into consideration.Secondly,this paper did the modular design of display and control software based on the function of TWR.The data communication module,responsible for the data and instruction's interaction between the display and control system and signal processing system.Data processing module,responsible for unpacking and packing the data and instruction based on the designed protocol,while,the module implement the algorithm of coordinate transformation and image interpolation and enhancement.Graphic display module,responsible for the UI and the displaying of radar image and data.At last,the paper built the system's platform based on the hardware and software and did the integrated test and experiment.Building platform including the selection of hardware processor,building the external circuit structures and transplanting the embedded operating system and installing software.After three times integrated test experiment,the paper concluded coordinate operation between hardware and software,the software has correct logic function and the visual effect of image interpolation and image enhancement matches the requirement of designed algorithm.
