Radar display and control system is an important part of the modern Radar, mainlyincluding: radar original video data processing, target and the related informationdisplay, radar state control, human-machine interaction and so on. With the developmentof computer technology, software technology and the large scale integrated circuit, thegeneral-purpose computer as a radar display and control platform has become a trend.Since the flexibility of general-purpose computer using computer graphics technologyand computer software technology, it has brought great convenience for the design andimplementation of radar display and control system. Meanwhile, it makes the systemhas good versatility and flexibility, apt to maintenance and upgrades, and greatlyshortens the development cycle, saving development costs.This article aims to achieve a radar display and control system based ongeneral-purpose computer and common software technology, with the ability tocomplete real-time radar data acquisition, processing and display, and has a goodhuman-machine interaction function. This system uses Linux as the operating systemplatform, on this basis, using RTAL to improve the system’s real-time; Using PCI DMAtechnique, and the design of radar video data acquisition board, which greatly improvesthe system’s data transmission and processing; Using FrameBuffer, double bufferingand multithreading technology to achieve real-time display of the radar video data;Through the Qt/Embedded, OpenGL etc technology to achieve a good human-machineinterface interaction and radar target of three dimensional display.
