With the vigorous development of optical fiber industry,more and more optical fiber companies appears,and the competition of fiber market has become increasingly fierce.In order to improve the competitiveness of optical fiber enterprises,the efficiency of optical fiber production,and improve the product quality,industrial production management information and intelligence will be essential.To make full use of computer network in industrial production information technology can change the traditional mode of production,so that industrial production to can better adapt to today's information society.How to use the industrial information,to manage the relevant fiber production data efficiently and improve the production efficiency has become an important problem to be solved for fiber-optic enterprises.This paper analyzes the shortcomings of optical fiber production,then designs and implements an information management system for optical fiber production.Based on the analysis of the specific cases,I designed a fiber optic information system to cover the process requirements of all processes in the production of optical fiber and to assist the production of optical fiber with high efficiency and accuracy.The system can provide all the production processes to guide the program,so that all processes in an orderly and accurate manner.The system also has an anomaly detection function.It can monitor fiber production in the abnormal situation at any time.At the same time,the system achieved a comprehensive inventory management program used to record the logistics of optical fiber products.In order to make the fiber information system more efficient,easier to use and easier to deploy,the system adopts the B / S system architecture which is deployed on the workshop production equipment to support the workshop data input in the fiber production.After rigorous module debugging and overall functional testing and performance testing,the optical fiber information system can realize all the requirements in the fiber production.It can realize the data and information communication between the various business systems and standardized the production of optical fiber.The design and implementation of this system has been formally deployed with the YOFC fiber optic cable Indonesia branch.It got the expected results and increased the efficiency of fiber production significantly.Practice has proved that the subject has certain reference significance for the similar optical fiber information system.
