With the continuous deepening of early education concept,more and more parents realized the importance of early education,especially children's reading.In children's reading list,picture books are loved because of their beautiful pictures,bright colors and strong stories.Parents also focus more on picture books when choosing children's reading bibliographies,as a result of which,parents and children form the reader group of picture books.However,it is difficult for parents and children to select suitable picture books in the face of numerous and various bibliographies,both at home and abroad.This is because the library and online bookstore as the subjects of picture books reading service,which retrieval interface provides readers with retrieve items is not appropriate for readers' increasingly individualized picture book demand.Therefore,how parents and children can quickly find picture books that fit their needs is a problem that needs to be solved before them.This paper focuses on the readers to describe the project research of picture book bibliographic description.Based on readers' reading demand and reading behavior,this paper summarizes the bibliographic description items of picture books,utilizing the observation method,interview method and content analysis method.At the same time,by comparing the project with the library of the bibliographic description of OPAC retrieval system and the corresponding relationship between a retrieval of the online bookstores,analysis points out that the library and online bookstore in the description of the picture books bibliography has shortcomings,and put forward the corresponding optimization Suggestions,to meet the personalized requirements,accurate realistic painting our readership,provide the beneficial reference.
