SCADA is a kind of computer-based system which processes remote monitoring and data collection.By collecting real-time through measuring and control equipment,it achieves full-scale monitoring of the monitoring objects.Although SCADA is widely used in monitoring field,especially in industrial production fields of petroleum and power,and intelligent transportation system,it does not have the ability of geospatial space analysis in remote monitoring.In addition,as a geographical information system,GIS has powerful function in spatial data processing.Therefore,this paper proposes the convergence of GIS system and SCADA system.In GIS visual interface,it makes the real-time monitoring of the state of objects and devices possible,which is of great significance.In this paper,it analyzes the structure,working principles and the monitoring platform of SCADA,According to function analysises of monitoring platform,the whole monitoring system is divided into real-time data module,GIS map module and web publishing module.And those modules are the basis of the monitoring system,so this paper is tightly around three function modules and sets up a wireless SCADA system based on Web and GIS by implementing those modules,which improves spatial data processing ability of SCADA system.The main research work sum up as follows:1.This paper summaries the development history and trends of SCADA.To be specific,key steps in the development process and driving factors are proposed and trends for SCADA development are outlined.2.Based on the traditional SCADA system,we proposal whole framework of the wireless SCADA system based on Web and GIS.And important indexs to measure system's performance are outlined.3.This paper discusses the design and implementation of three modules from the perspective of development.To begin with,real-time data module is studied.To be specific,we design the general framework of this module according to functional requirements.And this module can be divided into two submodules which is achieved step by step.Then,we study the GIS map module and get implementation ideas from the general framework.Based on these prior work,we get the GIS map and outline key codes.At last,the web publishing module is designed.We choose WAMP architecture to develop visual interfaces of the surveillance center after the comparation of current development modes for dynamic websites.And key codes are also given according to pages designment and functional requirements.4.This paper studies security issues about data and efficient solutions are put forward.To be specific,during the process of data transmission,some problems like data leakage are apt to occur.We also need to consider web and database security after publishing visual interfaces.5.This paper constructs the wireless SCADA system based on Web and GIS after combining software with equipment and devices,and complete test task of this system.The test result suggests that when transmissing medium or less data flow,this system works normally and stablely regardless of the operating system version in SCADA.
