The rapid development of economy brings the heavy pressure to the environment andharm to the health of people. With the continuous improvement of the peopleenvironmental protection consciousness, countries pay more and more attention toenvironmental monitoring. Establishing a more intelligent of the quality of ambient airautomatic monitoring system plays an important role for environmental air monitoring andprotecting.After decades of development, environmental air quality monitoring system is moreand more automatic in my country. The increase of monitoring subjects needs higherrequest of the integration of the system. As monitoring equipments from differentmanufacturers, the differences of the communication protocol, the change and increase ofthe equipment becomes very difficult. This article researched the data collection interfacetechnology of SCADA system from equipment layer analysis, to develop a compatible withall sorts of equipment control system, enhancing the system compatibility and stability. Themain research results are as bellow:Given the subject of the monitor and control system of system structure diagram andhardware structure of block diagram, each part of the hardware are introduced in this paper.The software of the monitoring system is developed. Various monitoring instrumentsare support RS232serial interface communication. Multithreading multi-serial portcommunication is researched in this paper.The unification of all kinds of data collection isrealized. It studied OPC communication mode and developed OPC client, realizing thecommunication with OPC server in the configuration software. In order to realize thecommunication between the serial interface communication data collection and the OPCclient, It researched the process communication and realized the process communicationthrough named pipe. It designed the curves and forms of the collection data on KingView.In order to realize the management of collection data, the database interfacetechnology is studied. It realized the data of KingView importing to SQL server2008database.The research of the data collection interface technology realized the compatibility ofthe equipment monitoring system, improved the stability of the system.
