The Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system is a production course control and attemperament automatization system based on computer. With the prominent development of industrial automation and wireless communication technology, industrial corporations demands SCADA system more reliabe, real-time and flexible. In this suitation, this thesis put forward a SCADA system based on RF and GPRS technologies, which using advanced wireless communication technology to collect the real-time data of industrial field and to report to management layer.Communication technology is one of the most important factors of SCADA system, so selection of communication technology and design of communication protocol are very important in design and implemention of the system. For the selection of communication technology, we choose RF technology to replace the wire to transimitting data in the filed for high flexibility. After analyzing the disadvantages of several communication technologies, we select GPRS as remote data transimission method. For this, the system becomes more real-time and low-cost.In the facet of communication is SCADA system, this thesis designes the protocol stack for the field data-collect subnet with physical layer, data link layer, network layer and transmission layer.
