Design Of The HF RFID Digital Baseband Controller Based On SM4 Algorithm

RFID(Radio Frequency Identification,RFID),as the key technology of mobile Internet and Internet of Things,are widely used in access control sysytem,transportation,logistics,medicine and payment.Especially,integrated sensor of the RFID system has become a hot research topic in today's society.However,ensure the safety of the RFID system in the process of transmitting information also appears more and more important.Add lightweight encryption algorithm in the tag chip can guarantee the security of data,also can meets the design requirements of small area and low power consumption in RFID tags.The feasibility of SM4 algorithm in the application of the RFID system is analyzed in this paper.SM4 algorithm is made a detailed research and RTL implemented,optimized,verified,then applied in the triple authentication between PCD and PICC.A HF digital baseband controller is designed in this paper.The architecture of the baseband controller and the state machine design are given.The RTL implementation of each module and the lightweight optimization are made.The digital baseband controller can compatible with ISO/IEC14443 TypeA basic instructions.On the basis of conform to the protocol specification,the authentication instruction based on SM4 algorithm and expansion instruction of reading of the temperature sensor data are also designed in this paper.Finally,the functions simulation of the digital baseband controller and FPGA platform verification are made in this paper.The digital baseband controller of integrated temperature sensor instruction is synthesized,the area in the SMIC 0.18?mprocess technology is 0.125mm~2.The power consumption analysised by PTPX is70?W.After the final layout,the digital logic part of the area is 0.42mm~2.
