This thesis takes the typical discourse in TVBS "Shaokang Talking Room" as the research object, and analyzes the discourse with the method of Fairclough's three-dimensional discourse analysis from the perspective of media ritual.Textual analysis mainly describes the main forms of discourse;discourse practice analysis explains the production process of such discourse and the ritual features it embodies.Social practice analysis further combines program discourse with social practice and tries to reveal the power relations behind discourse,as well as the media's reconstruction of power relations. Finally, the conclusion is drawn that Taiwan's political talking program, represented by "Shaokang Talking Room," actually shapes a media ritual by means of discourse and propagates its position for specific party interest groups, but brings threats of the social identity. |
