The planning and design of LTE network is a topic worthy of attention and research.The planning and design of the network determines the quality of the wireless network construction.Nowadays,the network construction of LTE in China is still in progress.Only through reasonable network planning can the network be fully developed.The use of existing resources,taking into account both the cost of construction and the effect of network coverage,can ensure the stable construction and operation of the network.This paper mainly studies the planning of LTE wireless network.Firstly,it gives a brief overview of the research background of LTE wireless network planning and the development status at home and abroad.Then it introduces the overall framework of LTE network and details the TD-LTE network structure.Also,researched and described the key technologies used in LTE include OFDM,MIMO,link adaptation,and inter-cell interference control.Then it comprehensively introduced the basics and processes of wireless network planning.Among them,the research,summarization and formula derivation of the propagation characteristics of wireless channels and mobile communication signals,antenna propagation models and selections were discussed.The wireless network planning process was elaborated and summarized separately.Include the planning preparation phase,the pre-planning phase,and the detailed planning phase of the main work.Finally,using the planning mehod of the dissertation as a guide,Atoll wireless simulation software was used to simulate the wireless network in the city.In the planning,the author first carried out propagation model correction,and made a propagation model suitable for a city's characteristics.The link budget is used to determine the coverage radius of the base station,and the pre-planned base station scale is calculated by using the link budget software.The specific base station site and base station parameters are planned together with the existing base station data,and then are performed by the atoll software.Network simulation measures four indicators: RSRP,RS-SINR,downlink throughput,and uplink throughput.Site additions and parameter adjustments are made to non-compliant indicator items.Finally,LTE wireless network planning for dense urban areas is achieved the required indicators.
