In this paper,the development of the Internet of Things(IoT)technology,historical background and current situation were analyzed,as well as the development history of pet industry in China,population of adopting pets,relevant consumer goods market analysis and development rules,indicated the IoT pets tracker meaning of this paper.This paper took the pet locator as the leading product of the typical Internet of things terminal products.Three scenarios for implementing this product are described in detail(2G/NB/2G+NB).From the perspectives of different network standards and related telecommunication operators(China Mobile,Telecommunication and Unicom network),a multi-dimensional analysis was conducted.The product of 2G solution proposed in this paper has been mass production in April 2018.Also we got a good reaction from market on GPS high-precision positioning,feature easy operation and battery stable running etc.The NB solution and the dual-mode version are in actual testing and are expected to be put on the market in August 2018.In the locator products supported by different case,we can share IDs and molds to support wearable,clip-on,and pendant styles to adapt to different usage scenarios and achieve the effect of cost savings and rapid batch delivery to the market.According to the user's habits,different scenes,tracking modes,track routes,phone calling,low battery reminding and other functions can be set in mobile APP terminal.Also the background,terminal database can be managed,queried and tracked in one time among these products.What's more,the pet locator's production delivery,packaging and shipping process management were also described in detail,thus forming a complete process implementation plan from product design to user delivery.The overall system framework proposed in this paper is intuitive,reusable and reproducible.The framework has been applied to the specific project practice,resulted a great guiding role in project development efficiency and practical application.In final part of the thesis,the advantages and disadvantages of the three cases were compared and summarized,and a brief description of the subject's further research direction was given.
