| The PRI tracker is widely used in electronic countermeasure system. It can filter out other unwanted signals and improve the sorting efficiency effectively when used for sorting known signal. When used for interferes with guidance, it can eliminate the blind area of interference and significantly improve the disturbing effect. Along with the development of electronic warfare technology, the signal environments are getting more complexity, the signal density increases sharply and the signal forms are getting more diversity. It proposes a great challenge to the PRI tracker and demands it can work in the complex electromagnetic environment, track radar signal with complicated PRI type and track several targets at the same time.This article present a new design method of PRI tracker on the base of the improvement of conventional method, dividing it into control circuitry, PRI generating circuitry, half-gate generating circuitry, searching circuitry, tracking circuitry, gate generating circuitry and pulse signal recovering circuitry. The design method of PRI tracker presented in this article is clear and the resources is used more efficiently. It can track radar signal with complex PRI type by pure hardware. The design method of the dual-channel PRI tracker is proposed based on it, which provides a new idea for the design of PRI tracker. Then, this paper tells the implementation method of the dual-channel by using FPGA, its function is being tested and the result show that the dual-channel PRI tracker has reached design requirement. Finally, this article analyzes the tracking performance of radar signal with jitter PRI. The impact of jitter scope on tracking performance is analyzed with gate shift probability and consecutive losing probability and validated by FPGA, which provides a reference for analyzing the tracking performance of PRI tracker. |
