With the strong support of the state for the media convergence of publishing industry, after two stages of journal network interaction and journal network integration, the periodical press industry has already entered a new stage-the stage of media convergence.Internet communication shows the characteristics of mobilization, socializatio n,video, and interaction.Under the circumstances, many academic journals have begun to integrate different forms of new media into periodical publications, and publish periodical articles and information through journal databases and various promotion platforms, which providing researchers with timely access to academic information and academic exchanges, and enhancing the impact and dissemination capability of online academic journals. However,as a whole, the academic periodicals are less sensitive to the new media technologies. Most academic journals are still lagging behind in the application of new media, and the overall digitalization of academic journals is still relatively slow. Therefore, this article studies the knowledge diffusion and the impact of academic periodicals in the network, and probes into the changes in the mode of dissemination of knowledge in the new environment, which will help the academic periodicals to make clear the status of their own network publishing and to put forward the targeted development strategies.Based on the theory of knowledge diffusion, this paper analyzes the knowledge diffusion process of academic journals from the citation analysis perspective, diffusion perspective and learning perspective of knowledge diffusion in the network environment, proposes citation network impact, download impact, search engine impact, official website impact, and Wechat Official Account impact as five first-level indicators, and analyzes the influencing factors of the first-level indicators one by one to obtain 17 second-level indicators,to construct a web impact evaluation system for academic journals. This paper selects 6 Library and Information Science journals collected by CSSCI as the evaluation objects, and evaluates the web impact of sample periodicals using AHP-entropy method. Then, this paper ranks the comprehensive scores of the journals' impacts, and analyzes the actual characteristics and scores of the periodicals,so as to provide a reasonable way to improve the web impact of the periodicals in Library and Information Science. The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The evaluation results of academic journals' web impact evaluation system are reasonable.Compared with the traditional journal evaluation indicators,it has an advantage in evaluating journal's web impact.(2)The impact of citation network and Wechat O fficial Account on the academic journal's web impact is higher than search engine.(3)There are great differences in the web impact of the journals in the field of Library and Information Science. The comprehensive scores of the web impact of different journals are affected by different factors. In practice, this paper provides a new method for quantifying the degree of knowledge diffusion and web impact of academic journals. It also helps to find problems in the digitalization process of academic journals and further develop and improve the functions of online media to constantly promote the impact of academic journals in China.
