Research On Social Impact Evaluation Of Management Academic Journals

Academic journals are not only public platforms for researchers to publish their results and conduct academic exchanges,but also leading frontier positions for innovative production of professional knowledge and social communication.Therefore,a set of scientific and fair journal evaluation system can better guarantee the realization of journal functions and provide the academic community with scientific research development direction and academic demonstration reference,while journal evaluation,as an important part of scientific evaluation,can also promote the scientific and rational development of scientific evaluation.Domestic and foreign journal evaluation has made numerous achievements over the years,and the domestic academic journal evaluation system based on impact factor and core journal evaluation under the framework of bibliometrics has gradually formed.This system is simple and intuitive,and has its own advantages in journal evaluation,but in practice it also reveals some disadvantages of incomplete evaluation and overuse.For this reason,the field of library and information has made many explorations on journal evaluation,constantly developed and applied new evaluation indexes,and in the process also gradually focused on the multidimensional evaluation of the social influence,discourse power,and comprehensive influence of journals.After conducting literature research on the current situation of journal evaluation,this study evaluates journals from the perspective of social influence.Firstly,based on the existing studies,this paper selects the theory of the whole life cycle of journals,the model of academic achievement influence generation and the academic journal dissemination model as the theoretical guidance,collects and classifies the existing relevant indexes,and proposes a preliminary index system for evaluating the social influence of journals,and then uses the expert consultation method to filter and optimize the indexes to construct the final index system for evaluating the social influence of management academic journals.Secondly,six management journals are selected as empirical objects,their detailed data of each index are collected,the weights of each index are determined by using hierarchical analysis,and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used to evaluate these six journals,and the evaluation scores and ranking are given,and the results are analyzed to verify the rationality of the evaluation index system constructed in this paper.Finally,suggestions for improvement are given from two perspectives,namely,the improvement of the social influence of journals and the development of the evaluation scheme of the social influence of journals,respectively.By constructing the evaluation index system of social influence of academic journals and applying it,this paper provides suggestions for journals to improve their own social influence and for science and technology management departments to develop the evaluation index system of social influence of journals,and also provides reference for research in the field of Library and information science in the evaluation of journals.
