The Research On Environmental News Reported By Network Media Based On Frame Theory

In recent years,environmental condition of domestic is not optimistic,environmental disasters such as water pollution,desertification,haze,have occurred frequently.The problem is a serious threat to the public health and safety,which also leads to a sudden increase in the demand for environmental news information.As the main channel for the public to obtain daily news,network media not only meets the immediate needs of the public environmental information.It is crucial to guide public issues such as social public order and good publicity,negative emotions in the decompression room,and enhancing the public credibility of the government.Therefore,it is of practical significance to explore news media in the media environment.This research is supported by framework theory and uses professional web crawler software to capture water pollution news reported by People's Daily Online and Sina in 2016.Moreover I used the methods of content analysis,case analysis and comparative analysis to deal with data of texts,and explore how two types of attribute media describe the water pollution news under given framework.While expounding reasons for difference reporting between them,I tried to find common problems in People's Daily and Sina,and extend to explore environmental news reported by network media.This study is divided into five major parts,namely,introduction,study design,content analysis of water pollution news reported by People's Daily Online and Sina,problems and suggestions for improvement of environmental news reporting on network media,conclusion and reflection.The first part is introduction,focusing on development and academic achievements about environmental news of domestic and foreign,water pollution reporting activities and academic research,meanwhile I described background and significance of this study.The second part is research design,I elaborated on the research steps of sample selection,category construction,and coding rules,as well as test reliability.The third part is content analysis of water pollution news reported by People's Daily Online and Sina.I use a seven-dimension of news sources to conduct a descriptive analysis of the People's Daily and Sina.report water pollution news.The fourth part is problems and suggestions for improvement of environmental news reporting on network media.I analyzes the problems that domestic network media present when report environmental news,and gives practical suggestions for improvement,using interdisciplinary theories such as communication science and sociology.The fifth part is conclusion and reflection,briefly describes the results of research,meanwhile summarize the insufficiency of study.Based on analysis results of this paper,I make the following suggestions at the end of article.Firstly,network media need to innovate principles of content output and report news diversely.Secondly,it's vital to build green report discourse and green news content.Thirdly,network media must open green public domain and popularize discourse power.Fourthly,they should enhance journalist professionalism and establish the group for citizen journalists.
