| In recent years,the prevention and control of environmental pollution has become an important part of the strategy of green development and ecological civilization construction in our country.Winning the battle against pollution is vital to the well-being of the people,the transformation and upgrading of the economy and the building of a beautiful China.As the authoritative mainstream media in the field of environment in our country,China Environment News has set up a special edition of “Tackling difficulties”since October 2018,based on the “Water,air and soil” campaign,marine ecological protection,solid waste and chemicals management,the thesis provides readers with a large number of news reports on pollution prevention and control,effective response to the social concerns of the hot topics,forming a unique media issues.Therefore,the study of the “Pollution control” issue of “China Environment News” is of great significance for other domestic media to construct such relevant content in the future.Based on the relevant reports on “Pollution Control” in the special edition of China Environment News from 2018 to 2022,this thesis uses agenda-setting theory and frame theory to approach the issue from the perspective of environmental communication,in this thesis,the content construction,presentation,characteristics,deficiency and countermeasures of the topic of “Pollution Control” in this special edition are studied by the method of quantitative and qualitative analysis.The study found that the China environment news highlighted the themes of“Measures”,“Results”,“Experience”,“Supervision” and “Policies” in its coverage of key pollution prevention and control issues,and has formed the risk topic,the crisis topic,the governance topic,the knowledge topic and so on four topic frameworks.On the one hand,the content and characteristics of the anti-pollution report in the “Attack hard” special edition are reflected through the visual presentation of the source,quantity,length and genre of the issue On the other hand,through the deep presentation of reporting tendency and issue perspective,it highlights the key content and emotional tendency of the pollution control report in the special edition of “Tackling difficulties”.This thesis also summarizes the “China environment” issue of “Pollution Control” on the two characteristics of the construction.First,in the issue presentation,the use of news thesis editing language to give full play to the function of media issues.It is mainly manifested in the following aspects: highlighting the significance of “Pollution control” issues through layout design,forming the continuity of “Pollution control” issues through column settings,and emphasizing the importance of “Pollution control” issues from various angles.Second,in the issue setting,based on the theory of environmental communication to build “Pollution control” attribute issues.It is mainly manifested in:constructing “Risk” and “Governance” as the key issues of environmental communication,and constructing the systematic issues of environmental communication based on the multi-attribute of “Pollution Control”;To create a positive “Pollution control” issue of environmental governance of good public opinion atmosphere.At the same time,the thesis also found that China Environment News needs to be further optimized on issues such as problem exposure,public participation and environmental protection education,and put forward corresponding suggestions. |
