With the rapid development and the extensive application of network technology,it will be the inevitable trend that combining network with video technique in the future,because the ways of traditonal communication unable to satisfy people in daily life.Although there are many prototyped products and applications about video communication,it is unavoidable to install some plug-ins,which may cause a series of problems,such as software binding,Trojan and other security hazards.For the above problems,WebRTC technology makes up for the of existing technology deficiency.Thus,this paper buids a multi-functional real-time video communication system based on WebRTC,and the main achievements are as follows:1.The real-time communication module of audio and video is designed and realized.Firstly,a Web server and a signal server are constructed for a communication system fitfully.In order to ensure the security of data transmission to the maximum extent,the Web server adopts Https service.The Web Server completes the interaction between the browser client and push HTML page to client.Secondly,the funtional modules are designed and realized,including basic function: real-time video and audio communication,text information chatting,also extensive function: file sharing and downloading module,real-time video acquisition and editing.This module realizes multi-person real-time communication based on browser web pages without plug-ins and avoids problems such as Trojan from plug-ins.At the same time,the function of video image acquisition and editing is convenient for users to intercept the interested video image and carry out annotation processing.It paying more attention to the users' actual experience.2.The P2 P transmission function module is added.For the strong visual characteristics of video files and the high transmission performance requirements,also the current condion of communication system has not yet addressed the video file transmission mode.Thus,the idea of combining P2 P high-speed transmission and the mode of downloading and playingsimultaneously performance is proposed.This module integrates WebTorrent application into video communication system,not only improves transmission speed with "BT" transmission mode,but also realizes video streaming transmission based on web browser with WebRTC.Different from the general file transfer function in communication system,the combination of the two modes make the users' choice more flexible.The experimental result shows that comparing with the traditional c-s transmission mode,the file transmission speed is improved significantly and the visual image experience is stronger.
