The real-time transmission of high-definition video has a wide range of applications in fields such as the teaching,medical treatment,conferences,celebrations,and exhibitions.Users have increasingly high requirements for the video clarity and real-time performance.In some scenarios such as large-scale live exhibitions,multi classroom/meeting room synchronization,the topology of video sources,playback devices,and relay devices is complex and often requires redeployment.The traditional transmission media,such as coaxial cables,twisted-pair cables,and HDMI cables,have shortcomings,such as the high cost,short life span,and inconvenient deployment.In particular,the inconvenience of deployment further magnifies the problem of short lifetime.The thesis proposes a technical solution for the real-time transmission of high-definition video based on the power line communication(PLC).Under the premise of guaranteeing the high-definition and real-time transmission,the existing 220V power line is used to transmit the node network,eliminating the complicated wiring work and satisfying most of the requirements.In this way,the needs for the live video transmission scenarios are met.First,the transmission capability of the PLC technology,the high-definition video real-time transmission solutions,and the high-definition video encoding and decoding algorithms are studied,and the targeted optimizations for them are performed.Second,an embedded high-definition video real-time transmission system is designed and implemented.The system can transmit the video at up to 1080p in less than 100 milliseconds on a power line up to 400 meters,achieving the goal of the real-time HD video transmission.The system provides a variety of external video input and output interfaces and uses TCP/IP-based transmission protocol,which provides flexibility,compatibility,and extensibility,enabling one-to-many multicast and remote live streaming across the Internet.
