Pipeline played an important role in the development of human society,however,due to pipe in use process to produce a series of problems such as corrosion,leakage holes,aging,not only increases the operation cost of enterprise,at the same time can also cause many environmental problems.The oil,gas pipelines and urban pipelines used in the industrial field are often transported several kilometers or even more than a dozen kilometers,and there is a huge demand for endoscopic detection in long-distance pipelines.For only a handful of pipeline robot at home and abroad that can realize long-distance endoscopic detection,this paper designed a remote video communication pipeline robot system,to improve the problem of data and image transmission over a long distance.The system consists of three parts: external control system,transmission medium and in-pipe robot.System by rotating a webcam hd will be captured inside information by H.264 compression coding,compression of image through high speed figure pass system adopt the TC-PAM modulation output compressed data flow,the data flow transmission on thousands of meters of twisted pair,and after external main control system of compressed image decoding processing,will be taken to the complexities of transmission to the screen allows the operator to depending on the situation for further instructions and commands.Temperature and humidity data,smoke sensor detection results and robot azimuth information will be transmitted by cables to the display screen of the external system of the pipe to assist the pipeline robot to carry out endoscopic detection.At the same time,this design solve the problem of the energy supply of pipeline robot,due to the traditional untethered robots mostly adopt the built-in power supply,electricity supply restricted by the existing battery storage technology,caused the supply time is limited,its movement distance is always difficult to reach far.This design uses twisted-pair cable to supply pipeline robot energy,which can make the robot power supply lasting.Combined with the result of design and theory analysis,the test of long-distance communication of robot was completed,and video transmission and real-time display of sensor data were realized.The pipeline robot system developed in this paper has the characteristics of long crawling distance,real-time video display and cable communication.
