Video optical fiber transmission technology is an important technology frequently adopted in Long Distance Video Supervisory System and CATV transmission systems, which has many advantages, such as a wide transmission bandwidth,a large quantity of information,low transmission loss,high transmission quality,long transmission distance and high interference free quality. In this paper, combining the digital technology and the optical fiber transmission technology a multi-channel high-speed digital video optical fiber transmission system based on time division multiplexing is designed. The system adopts serial transmission mode of the digital-video-signal to make the multi-channel digital video signals can transmit in the optical fiber.The methods and experiments in the paper are mainly as follows:1. Firstly a five-channel digital video optical fiber transmission system is designed according to the high-speed digital video optical fiber transmission theory presented in the paper. The system adopts a combination of time division multiplexing and serial transmission technique to transmit high-speed digital video signals in optical fiber.2. An experiment system is designed with five-channel digital video signals multiplexed by time division according to the system presented above. The system includes digital video signals transmitting module, series-parallel conversion module, laser transceiver and digital video signals receiving module. Devices are selected and parameters are fixed according to the structure and the features of the system.3. According to the experiment system, the optical link and circuits are designed for the digital video transmission system, in which the circuits design includes digital signals transmitting and receiving circuits design,series-parallel converting circuit design,laser transceiver circuit design and the system power circuits design.4. In the process of the system design, some key points such as PCB design for the high speed circuits,the crosstalk of the high speed signals transmission line the synchronization of the system signals and transmission line effect are solved by simulation and optimization. A theory analysis about the high speed system is given in detail in the paper. The crosstalk simulation for the high-speed signal transmission line is carried out with the Hyperlynx software and the PCB design is optimized.
