The Design And Implementation Of The Library Management System In Secondary Vocational School

Network and communication technology develop rapidly in various industries with the progress of the society.Library is a gathering place of information resources,which has the characteristic of abundant resources,high use and management difficulty.Secondary Vocational School of Wucheng County in Dezhou city Shandong province has been managing books in manual way,which is inadequate in recording borrowing information and querying book information.Furthermore,it wastes time and energy,and is difficult to manage.Ministry of Education pays more attention to vocational education,and invests much capital in digital campus construction.Therefore,a book management system is necessary to improve the efficiency of the library work.This design,taking Secondary Vocational School of Wucheng County as an example,carries out the survey and analyses the business process.The function of system contains room management,shelf management,book cabinet management,book categories,book management,supplier management,stock management,inventory management,borrowing management,order management,my reservation,borrowed record and online booking module.The role of access to the system is divided into system administrator,administrator and book manager.By instructing of software engineering concept,we design the system with ASP.NET and SQL Server 2008 database.The system is B/S three-tier architecture(User Interface Tier?Business Logic Tier?Data Access Tier).ASP.NET is used to realize the presentation layer and each dynamic webpage.C programming language is used to handle the business logic of book management in DLL business logic level.The design and implementation of book management system of secondary vocational school use SQL Server2008 database,ASP.NET technology and UML(Unified Modeling Language)technology for system design.Starting from the actual demand of the system,the design uses B/S 3-tier architecture based on Web computer applications,proceeding respectively with three aspects of the system architecture design,function design and database designs,to deal with the relationship between database technologies scientifically.With the aspect of the role,proceeding from the desk and background module,the specific systemic design is implemented.Through the design and debugging of the system,it can be concluded that the system has strong stability,can provide the technical support with book management work of secondary vocational school.
