Nowadays,remote sensing satellite system has been widely applied to military area and daily life due to its rapid development.Developing the satellite image transceiver system which matched the satellite system is signality for satellite development because of the inconvenience and high cost of joint debugging with the satellite on orbit during the initial stage of developing satellite receiver system.After investigating the research status and sumamarizing the trends of satellite image transceiver system,the scheme of high speed image transceiver hardware system has been put forward on basis of the different technical index of the system.The satellite image transceiver system was divided into different module.After analyzing the requirements of different module and widely investigating and comparing the different bus to combine the peripherals and PC,the scheme of high speed satellite image transceiver system based on PCI-E was established.The scheme of Virtex-6 series FPGA to be used as the main master control chip on Xilinx ML605 was formulated on basis of system characteristic.The hardware architecture of simulator and receiver was then proposed.The system high speed interface composed of Xilinx PCI-E Integrated Block and DMA logic controller and interrupt logic controller.The problem of continuous and high speed transmission was solved by DMA controller and interrupt controller and interrupt generation logic and interface between DMA controller and MPMC.The other port of interrupt controller was designed to promote the expansibility of system.In the end,the hardware system were tested and analyzed.The test and analyses were based on the performance of DMA logic controller and interrupt logic controller and continuous transmission and the FPGA resource usage.The result showed that function of satellite image transceiver system and speed of DMA controller met design requirement.It is provided the system has practical application value and lay the foundation of further research.
