Object tracking is one of the important issues in the field of computer vision and has been widely used in daily life.For example,the camera software of smart phone tracking human face and keep focus on it,the UAV focus on the user-selected specific target for continuous tracking flight,etc.,they are the applications of the target tracking technology in normal life.The concept of object tracking refers to detecting and determining the position of the object to be tracked in a continuous sequence of images to obtain the complete trajectory of the object.After briefly introduced the progress in the current object tracking field,this article selects the popular TLD tracking algorithm as the core of the target tracking system.The hardware of the tracking system will be based on the SOPC platform,meanwhile using the Nios ? CPU as the computational unit for running the algorithm.The paper first introduces the basic principles of the selected TLD tracking algorithm,and gives the actual effect of the algorithm running on the PC platform,and then introduce details in the SOPC system construction process and the detailed steps transplanted into the system,the SOPC platform is mainly divided into two major aspects of software and hardware,the hardware part is mainly used Altera's video and image processing suite,the main work of the software part mainly lies in theinitialization of each peripheral of the generated Nios ? system and the basic hardware-driven writing.When the algorithm is completely added to the SOPC system,it also involves the modification of the algorithm code and the rewriting of the functions of other platform library functions.Finally,the paper gives the final operating results of the system,briefly analyzes the advantages of the tracking system and its shortcomings and deficiencies.
