With the rapid development of new media on the Internet,new media such as websites,forums,Weibo,and WeChat have created a highly informatized online society.More and more people have participated in government management with the enthusiasm that they never had.It is especially reflected in their reaction to the emergencies by expressing their wishes,supports,opposes,condemns,or suggests to the government work through social media such as Weibo,Wechat,and website forums.These media environments form a stronger interaction relation between the public and the government,and provides opportunities for the government to build their public image and enhance the credibility and trust of the public to itself.On the other hand,they also provide a more rigid requirements to the government on the public management.This thesis takes the dissemination of government image in the context of new media as the research object.It uses case analysis,literature analysis and other methods to explore the laws and characteristics of the government image transmission in the new media era.It focuses on the future's opportunities and challenges of the impact and influence of the new media on the dissemination of government image.In this paper,author attempts to propose some specific measures to address the difficulties of building the government's image in the era of new media.And from which to provide theoretical basis for shaping the good government image in the new media context.
