With the explosive growth of nultimedia application over the Internet in recent years, the demand of network resources has increased significantly, the users’requirements of the quality of service is also growing, in order to satisfy the the users’demand of QoS in different network enviroment condition, so we must use the network resources efficiently to improve the transmission performance. The traditional transmission schema based on single path, can’t use the diversity of the path and use multiple paths simultaneously, when the time delay and drop rate is high, The TCP protocol based on ARQ may cause a lot of ACKs in the network, which increase the load, limit the throughput of the system. Using multiple paths simultaneously for transmitting can use the characteristics of the path diversity and increase the utilization of network resources. Now, In bandwith wireless mobile communication network, use the multiple path directly can lead to many problems, such as the decrease of throughput and service quality caused by transmission channels’high time delay and high loss rate, and the path selection problem and packets scheduling problem caused by the difference of the paths. In addition, the host use the multipath transmission lack effective methods to adjust the path selection strategy according to the change of the network enviroment.This paper first introduces the typical transmission protocols’ working principle and the character in transmission process. Second, analysis the typical methods used to improve the performance of TCP based on network coding. Then propose a method of transmission scheduling based on multipath using the rateless of the fountain code, and design the key function modules and interactive process of the method in detail. Then design and realize the path management module, packet scheduling module, feedback module and so on under Linux enviroment; Finally, through the building of simulation experiment enviroment with this method, do the function test and performance test. The results show that the scheme can improve the throughput of multipath transmission system, improve the transmission stability and efficiency and the decoding efficiency of digital fountain code.
