The development of media technology is changing all aspects of our lives.With the spread of the Internet,the way people receive and transmit information is constantly changing.However,the increasing number of netizens seems to have reached some kind of bottleneck,and the Internet demographic dividend is disappearing.In recent years,the rapid development of 4G technology in smart phones and mobile networks has injected new blood into the new media era--mobile short video.New mobile short video is different from traditional media,mobile short video rely mainly on mobile intelligent terminal to realize the fast film and beautify the editing,thus realized in social media platforms such as the spread of a new form of video.It is short in length and easy to operate.It combines the various forms of image and image,and more intuitive and vivid to meet the demands of users to display and share.Mobile short video has been popular with a wide audience and has become one of the media products of the Internet + era.By the end of 2017,the number of mobile short video users reached 242 million,with a growth rate of 58.2%.No matter from the content production end or from the point of broadcast platform,short video industry had super fast development,many traditional media people involved in the short video content production,short video content of the head of the creative team has gained a lot of capital.As a unique research school in the field of communication,media environmental science has been trying to find out the internal relation between media communication development and the whole society.Technical school in North America and innis,under the influence of the media environment school representative,Marshall McLuhan,the viewpoint of the medium is the message he thought only really useful information,medium is from a long-term point of view of the development of human society,every medium change will bring new possibilities and change for the society.The media is not only a channel and tool for conveying information,but as an environment that is affecting all fields of human society.Therefore,from the perspective of media environment,this paper analyzes and explores the impact of mobile short video as a new media environment on society.According to the three theoretical propositions of the media environment proposed by the scholar Lin wen-gang,the material structure and the inherent form of the media will influence the encoding and decoding of media communication.The important material basisfor the development of mobile short video is mobile terminals represented by mobile phones and the Internet.The phone's built-in app is the gateway to mobile short video.Since mobile short video length limitation and video graphic representation,determines the content of the mobile short video producers to shift from the traditional professional media practitioners to UGC,a variety of forms such as PGC coexist,and determine the spread of mobile short video content features,namely,visualization,fragmentation,and the proximity of text characters.According to the theory of media environment theory,the symbol form of the media influences the media's preference,and different media have different space,perceived bias,political preference,content bias,etc.The media form of mobile short video also gives its unique media bias.Is different from the print media linear,partial rational thinking logic,since mobile short video by acoustic shadow symbolic form and user interactive,making mobile short video the perception of bias is partial perceptual thinking more logical.And depends on the convenience of the Internet and mobile phones,mobile short video transmission speed and transmission dimension and the traditional video than greatly democratization.Furthermore,according to the theory of media environment,the influence of mobile short video media on human and social environment is further discussed.It mainly discusses the influence of mobile short video from personal space,social culture and social economy.Due to the different media will affect people perception media scene,so the spread of mobile short video brought public space for the user's personal space,in-depth personal space and personal space in three different media scene perception of public space.In terms of social culture,fragmented content and shallow knowledge have made people wary of the "entertainment to death" in the new media era.However,many merchants have also found new means of publicity by using mobile short video,and the new content realization business model is generated by mobile short video.From the perspective of media environment,the author makes an analysis of mobileshort video and hopes that this study will bring different perspectives to this emerging media field.
