Fiber can be processed into optical fiber through a series of processes.The tension fluctuation of optical fiber release unit affects the efficiency and quality of the whole production line in the process of fiber optic cable formation.Therefore,constant tension control has become an urgent demand in the industry.Based on the above engineering background,this paper study and discuss the tension control technology in the optical fiber discharge unit.The main contents of this paper include:1.Optical fiber cable tension control system mechanism design.Firstly,build the model of fiber tension and analyze the force.It is concluded that the control mechanism of tension can be controlled by controlling the speed of the motor.Then choose the combination of floating roll and photoelectric encoder through the analysis and comparison which is suitable to complete the test and feedback of tension.Finally,finish the design of the mechanism,including three subsystems of the retractable line,exhibite the picture of the tension detection and the tension feedback.2.Design and realize the control system of optical fiber discharge line motion.As a host computer,HMI completes the setting of tension value and speed value,user management,alarm and so on.As a lower computer,PLC performs the functions of computing and processing feedback.In hardware,complete the design of electrical control system.In software,complete the design of HMI configuration,PLC program,and tension monitoring system based on LabView.3.Research on the algorithm of fiber optic discharge system.Study the PID control and fuzzy control algorithm,design the PID controller of the optical fiber line system.The results of the PID control are analyzed experimentally.Design the fuzzy controller of optical fiber discharge line,the simulation results show that the control effect of fuzzy control is good,it has the advantages of fast response and low overshoot.4.Build the electrical control system of the tension control system and the test bench,test the motion control system.Summary the work done in this paper,analyze the shortcomings of the present and puts forward the future development direction.
