Mikhail Bakhtin believes that carnival is a way of feeling the world.As a kind of art reflecting the emotion of human's real life,music is an indispensable media window for people to perceive the real world and to convey the spiritual world.Therefore,the musical variety show on TV screens has been a long-standing program type,even if it sometimes ups and downs.However,the musical variety shows entered a slump period after the upsurges of the talent-search show of grassroots and the professional singer competition,and even once fell into the mire of homogeneity.However,this sluggish situation was suddenly broken by the new musical variety show that emerged in 2016,not only that,the combination of star and naive,suspense reasoning,amateur against the stars,music education,edge culture and so on,many musical variety shows that the music mix with other elements one after another emerged to refresh the public awareness of television variety shows'boundary,creating a large musical carnival lasts for the entire year.It prolongs the time and broadens the space,both the program content and program format have greatly subverted and broke through the past program model.It can be said that this year's musical variety shows in 2016 has created a second living space which is different from everyday life and has universal equality and wanton singing.It hugged more people into the carnival square of the music,showing the equality,innovation,and public appeals that were not achieved in the past.The collective outburst of new programs is not accidental,but a cultural phenomenon under the development of a particular economic and social environment.Therefore,based on Bakhtin's carnival theory,I will study the musical variety show in 2016 and try to explore the carnival features of the program,the deep reason for the Musical Carnival and the value appeal of itself and the people behind the program by the public square,universal,ritual and subversive of the musical variety show,and on the basis of this,to reflect and look forward to the development of the future musical variety show.The full text is divided into four major parts.The first part mainly discusses the carnival theory foundation of musical variety show,including combing the development of China's variety musical variety after the reform and opening up,as well as a brief tracing and overview of the historical origins and basic features of Bakhtin's carnival theory.Through analyzing the connotation relationship between the carnival theory and mass culture,as well as the musical variety show and the carnival sense of the world to find out the similarities and compatibility between them,which will provide a reasonable theoretical basis for further research on the carnival phenomenon and the reasons for the cluster explosion of the 2016 variety musical program.The second part,under the guidance of Bakhtin's carnival theory,mainly discusses the carnival plaza and universal character of musical variety shows.Through the breakthrough of the three aspects of age limit,professional barrier and edge culture to expounds the embodiment of the carnival of musical variety shows in 2016.It is a historic breakthrough to bring people in all fields into the musical square to enjoy the revelry of the music and to realize the dialogue and communication between the edge and the center.In the third part,the ritual and subversive nature of the musical variety show in 2016 is mainly discussed.Through the analysis of the main singer of the music program,program format and program content,whether it is crowning/decrowning or disguise oneself or other subversive rituals and content are all strongly reflected the change consciousness of the carnival thinking.As the old worldview was broken,the show was regenerated in subversion.The fourth part mainly discusses the value appeals of the musical variety show in 2016 in the revelry update and subversion.Through an in-depth analysis of the blowout phenomenon in this year's new type program,the contemporary people's resistance to the real life and the urgent need for the identity of self worth are shown.With the music programs to subvert the many existing imprisonment in order to appeal to the initial state and destination,then,obtain spiritual liberation.In a word,the musical variety shows only fully understand the spiritual value and self value needs of the audience in the period of the times development and the period of social transformation,do not blindly follow the trend,continue to subvert and update the grade breaking,the equal communication,the folk culture and the fringe culture,only in this way,can we continue the carnival and go further.
