Our country is in a critical period of transition, and the tension of various social contradictions has been highlighted. With the advent of a risk society, people will not only face natural disasters, but also many potential “man-made” risks. In such a large and populous country. How to carry out an orderly and efficient social mobilization in the event of a disaster and try our best to save lives and reduce economic losses has become a goal that governments at all levels are constantly pondering and working hard for.In the existing government emergency response system, the release of information did not cause the political leaders to pay enough attention. For a long period of time, many government officials still had the concept of "openly destroying stability." Although the "Government Information Disclosure Ordinance" promulgated by the State Council has been implemented as early as 2008,after 10 years of practice, information disclosure is still a long way ahead. The local government's use of the media to control the situation and "kicking off the lid" has often occurred. The Wenchuan earthquake in 2008 shocked China. It was also in this earthquake that people saw the importance of the smooth transmission of information during the disaster. In the Yaan earthquake of 2013,the Central People's Broadcasting Station sent the loudest call sign of the “National Emergency Radio” on the quake-hit area for the first time.In the past few years, emergency radio stations have been set up in various places and have made their own explorations in emergency reports.A top-down emergency broadcast system is being established and perfected nationwide. This article adopts the research orientation of news production sociology.Through in-depth participation in the observation of the Zhejiang Emergency Radio News and Editorial Department,in-depth interviews were conducted to record and explore the entire process of emergency broadcast news production. The emergency radio news production activities will be analyzed to summarize the phased results of the development of emergency broadcasting and the remaining problems. In addition, the arrival of the all-media era also puts forward new requirements for news reports on emergency broadcasts, and process reengineering has also brought greater challenges.Information dissemination is no longer confined to traditional broadcasting.News production must also take into account various channels. However, the challenge is also an opportunity.China's emergency radio, which has undergone many actual combat experiences, will surely have better development in the future.
