With the rapid development of information technology, the Internet is becoming increasingly popular among people, and the network is gradually deepening into people's study, work and life.Meanwhile,as the number of Internet users growing, more and more children regard the Internet as an important way to obtain information.Since it is more obvious that users become younger, the problem of children's information literacy is getting valued.Improving the ability of Information searching is the key to Improving citizen information literacy.Compared with foreign countries, little attention was paid to children's information search behavior in China. In this context,it is of dual theoretical and practical significance to carry out research on children's searching behaviors with Chinese web search engines.Based on the literature review and the basic theory,we conducted an experiment on investigating children's Internet information search behavior on Baidu. And children's behavioral characteristics in information search process was studied on the basis of the experimental data.Meanwhile, relevant influencing factors to the subjects was studied using single-factor analysis method.A behavioral model for children's network information searching was constructed.Related suggestions were also made for the optimization of children's search engine construction and children's information search capabilities. The experimental results show that the overall level of children's network information search was low,and different stages of the search process have different characteristics.Besides,a relatively fixed pattern was found in children's network information search behavior. Also, types of behavioral subjects and tasks could impact children's behavioral processes and results.
