Based On Meta-search Business Model Practice

Without doubt, Internet can bring us any information from any corner of the world. However, as each coin has two sides, people found it is too hard to gain what we exactly want from what Internet provided directly, especially in the time of " information explosion". Research on how to search Internet efficiently and exactly to get what people want is now on agenda. The development of traditional searching agent at one hand has enhanced its practicability, and has partially satisfied users' demands, but at the other hand, its intrinsic attribute has also abstracted its flexibility. Thence we need a high-efficient solution to get the most valuable information from Internet, and that is Meta-Searching agent. It utilizes search function of traditional ones', and takes them as a whole one, providing users a uniform search interface and then return search results. Besides, functions for re-search, sort and web site position are also conducted bases on results.This text firstly introduces the principle of search agent and its status quo, and then analyzed the defects for traditional search method and the necessary to induce Meta searching agent; secondly, principle of Meta searching agent and its realization is introduced and we propos led an application for shopping based on Meta searching agent. In the text, we analyzed what the difficult is for Meta searching for shopping in detail; and then taking classification for Meta searching methods into account and combined with shopping realistic use, we put forward a system model and discussed the realization for shopping based on such model and have conducted it successfully.This text has designed a shopping system model based on Meta searching agent and its mechanism. Such model aims to help users improve their efficiency to look up for the information that then needed in deed, and greatly improved precision and veracity for search.
