Bill of Material(BOM)management can achieve multi-configuration and changeable management of products.Thus,in recent years,more BOM managements are applied in automobile manufacturers by system implementation.This thesis implements a set of enterprise-leveled BOM management system.It is based on the study of requirement analysis,system design,and function implementation from following three aspects: configurations,changes,and materials.The main work is shown as follows:Firstly,the hardware and software platforms for the enterprise-leveled BOM management system are selected.Hardware platform is composed of load balancer and an application cluster server.Windows Server 2008 is used as the server operating system.JavaScript is used as programming framework.It is based on Java extensible development platform and three-tier architecture of J2 EE.Oracle database is used to design the method of system storage to ensure the security,stability,high availability and easy maintenance of the whole system.Secondly,an enterprise-level BOM management system is analyzed.The system is divided into configuration management,change management and material management.The configuration management is consisted of engineering feature list management,engineering configuration management and production configuration management.The change management contains engineering change,manufacturing change,after-sale change and temporary change.Material management is divided into design BOM management,manufacturing BOM management,after-sale BOM management,and manufacturing assembly BOM management.Due to the differences in configuration,changes,and corresponding business scenarios of materials,the cases are analyzed according to the person who is in charge of different business scenarios.Then,an enterprise-leveled BOM management system is designed.The main framework of the system is constructed.Database modeling and database tables for configuration management,change management,and material management are designed on the basis of the main framework.The function of system configuration management is designed,which includes creating and maintaining the feature family,feature code,engineering configuration table,and production configuration management table.In addition,change management function is designed,including the creation and publication of engineering,manufacturing,after-sales,and temporary changing.For the system of material management function,the maintaining of engineering BOM,manufacturing BOM,and after-sale BOM are designed.At last,the functions of the enterprise BOM management system are implemented.Configuration management,change management,and material management modules are implemented and the system's operating results are collected.Systematic tests of functional points are performed before the system goes online,which ensures the correct process and data accuracy before deploying it into the production environment.The unified management of configuration,changes and materials in the automobile industry can reduce the labor maintenance costs of BOM management in R&D,manufacturing and after-sales systems.BOM management complexity is reduced,and the personnel maintenance efficiency is increased.
