Research On The Development Of Digital Reading For The Elderly In China

Our country has entered in the aging society,the elderly in the total population proportion is increasing and the rapid development of the Internet under the background of our country old age the number of Internet users increased year by year,they intend to use for digital media and use rate improved significantly;at the same time,with the elderly population of Internet users and the overall education level the higher level of education,popularization and application of digital technology and equipment,making part of the elderly have relatively strong reading needs and reading is gradually from the traditional paper reading to read digital shift.Based on this,it is particularly important for the research on the status of the digital reading behavior of the elderly and the analysis of its problems and promotion measures.In order to better understand the status of digital reading of the elderly group,based on the theory of use and gratification,this paper explores and analyzes the current situation of the digital reading of the elderly readers from the following three aspects:reading status,theoretical analysis,problems and measures.In order to have a more detailed and specific understanding of the status quo of the elderly' s digital reading,the author investigated the number of the elderly in Changsha and Hengyang through questionnaires and face-to-face interviews.The present situation of word reading behavior and its influencing factors are studied in this paper.The problems existing in the digital reading of the old people are put forward,and the corresponding solutions are given.
