Study Of Marine News And Marine Consciousness Raising

Owing to the superior geographical advantages,Guangxi is an important gateway between "The Belt and Road".It has positive significance in the following aspects:the development of research on the cultivation of marine awareness in the context of Guangxi,the development of maritime exchanges and cooperation between China and ASEAN,the maintenance of safety channels and maritime rights and interests in the South China Sea,the establishment of an international major channel for ASEAN,and the realization of Guangxi's "strong areas of oceans" strategic goal.However,the status quo of the people's marine awareness in Guangxi is not optimistic and does not match the marine strategies of the country and Guangxi province.In order to enhance the marine awareness of the Guangxi people,the role of the mass media,especially the mainstream media,cannot be ignored."Guangxi Daily",as a local party committee organ report,bears an important political task of educating the public and guiding public opinion.This article mainly uses the news framework theory to sort out and analyze the marine news reports of "Guangxi Daily" from 2008 to 2017.First of all,the "Guangxi Daily" sample of marine reports is reviewed,screened,and counted.Then the relevant variables such as the total number of reports,the theme of the report,the genre of the report,the layout of the report,the source of the manuscript,and the source of the news are classified and coded so as to grasp the overall situation of the marine report of Guangxi Daily.After analyzing the statistics of the sample,it is concluded that Guangxi Daily has a large number of marine reports,rich reporting genres,and a wide range of coverage topics.However,the large number of reports cannot cover the issue of low quality of marine news reports,uneven distribution of topics,and rigid patterns.In order to cater to the strategic background of the building of a powerful ocean nation,Guangxi Daily must,under the premise that the level of marine news reporting must be improved,upgrade the people's marine awareness and realize the purpose of guiding consciousness and practice.In the end,it will serve Guangxi's construction of a strong marine economic province,serving the country's One Belt One Road Strategy and building a strong ocean nation.
