Abstract/Summary:
There is a surge of animation and culture & creative industry in recent years. China's animation is also under rapid development. With the fast development of computer technology, web technology and media technology, people are feeling the artistic charm of digital life. Under this background, best efforts should be made to perform innovatively in interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary studies. This thesis is mainly a combination of ocean knowledge, digital art and advanced computer technology. It aims to enhance the production efficiency of 3D animation and explore a new research field of digital creativity. The main content is as follows:(1) Research on the production process of 3D digital marine animation. This includes the technology, software, procedures and methods which can be divided into three stages: pre-production, mid-production and post-production. In particular, we focus on the analysis, design and realization of the marine environment and the marine biological characters based on original imagination.(2) Research on the simulation of ocean effect in 3D digital marine animation. The marine environment effects in the 3D animations are achieved by studying the textures of materials and light settings in 3D Studio MAX. Through an application case, we summarized a set of methods which can be used in the simulation and prettification of different vivid ocean scenes.(3) Design and production of a series of 3D marine animation named "Little Turtle's Roam under Sea", which makes the creation of a turtle as the dramatis persona. He is not only brave and smart, but also willing to make friends and help others. With the processing of its production, the main technologies of the thesis are formed.(4) Research on the efficiency improvement based on high-tech computer technology in the production of animation. The promotion effects, caused by the motion capture, Max Script language, as well as "Interactive 3D Marine Animation Software System", are analyzed and explored.In this thesis, the production process and the application case of a 3D digital marine animation are studied. It serves as an important step towards opening up a new direction for the animation field. There are basically two new contributions of this thesis, which are the effects of marine environment and the"generator of marine object"created by Max Script.
