Guangxi Daily was published in April 1937, the leaders of New Guixi hope to make use of it to propagate all its construction achievements to the external world, and command the public opinion in the whole province. After the outbreak of Anti-Japanese War, the contradiction between China and Japan had become the major one. At the very moment, Guangxi Daily quickly joined the report of Anti-Japanese and national salvation Movement and propagated it actively. At the same time, propagating all kinds of great achievements in Guangxi is also another important work. Apart from the order of papers from the party and government at all levels, Guangxi Daily also paid more attention to exploit the civil market in order to distribute more papers, therefore, their average issue amount is about 5000 or 6000 copies each day, and reached up to 20,000 copies at its highest point, becoming one of the most influential newspapers in Guangxi.The paper closely centered on the news reports in Guangxi Daily during the period of Anti-Japanese War. I will mainly introduce the social background of Guangxi Daily, the history of the newspaper, the institutional settings and the personnel of Guangxi Daily in the first part. The second part studies the news report of anti-Japanese and nation-saving campaign from the following aspects: the news reports of war front and denouncing traitor Wang, the New Life Movement and so on. The Historical Background and the news report of the four constructions including political, economic, military and cultural were reviewed in this paper.
