China has entered the information society,where computer technology,digital technology,network technology,and new media technologies have had a great impact on the traditional media industry,bringing unprecedented challenges to the dissemination of information.It is of much significance to adhere to the control mechanism of traditional media over the dissemination of information,ensure the orderly,scientific,and accurate information dissemination through media integration in the platform of “Internet +”,and then to improve media products,innovate working methods and spread positive power.In the meantime,to construct the editor's subjective consciousness in the media convergence era,that is,to construct editor's subjective consciousness featured with inheritance and innovation in the media convergence era is of critical importance and urgent needs.Therefore,this paper is to explore the construction of editor's subjective consciousness in the media convergence era from the following four aspects.This paper consists of four chapters.Chapter one analyses the necessity and urgency of the construction of editor's subjective consciousness in the media convergence era from perspectives of times requirement,industry demand,and receiver's needs.Chapter two discusses the connotative development of the construction of editor's subjective consciousness in the media convergence era from perspectives of Ontology,Epistemology and Methodology.Chapter three probes into the construction of editor's subjective consciousness in the media convergence era,through discussions on editors' five roles as the “planner” to tell Chinese stories well,the “actor” to cultivate cultural soft power,the “gatekeeper” to check the dissemination of information,the “creator” to nurture receivers' knowledge accomplishments,and the “marketer” to promote spiritual cultural products.Chapter four puts forward the path and guarantee of the realization of the construction of editor's subjective consciousness in the media convergence era from the national level,the media level and the editor's level.Through the discussion of the construction ofeditor's subjective consciousness in the media convergence era,this paper is to clarify the theoretical thoughts on the subjective and performative responsibility of editors in the media convergence era,thus providing support to the cultivation of professional and highly qualified editors.
