Study On Navigation Design Of Mobile Library

Research on mobile education is one of the hot issues in the current education reform.Experts in the field of education practice have made many opinions on mobile education and achieved certain results.However,there are still lack of resources,poor technology,and large differences between urban and rural education.As for other issues,China's mobile education needs to be improved.The mobile library uses network resources and platforms to display and publish library information and resources.It has become a good medicine for solving the gap between urban and rural education environment in China,but as people love to use mobile devices such as mobile phones,mobile books based on mobile terminals The library has become a research hotspot of the library.However,due to the limitations of the mobile device's screen itself,the information presentation problem of mobile reading has plagued the designers and affects the user's choice and use of mobile products.Therefore,the author has moved from mobile books.The navigation design of the library interface is to be started,hoping to try to design a relatively complete and practical navigation system and make innovations in the navigation design of the existing mobile library.This theory has carried on the research to the related literature,and borrowed the successful navigation design case,put forward the navigation design strategy,and through the exploration and development of new navigation design and strong empirical research to ensure the scientific and practicality of the strategy.Specifically divided into the following four parts:The first part,through reviewing the literature,the definition and function of “navigation” are summarized.By consulting the collection of library navigation models around the author,it is concluded that the current mobile library navigation system still has inaccurate user positioning,lack of guidance,and visual effects.The second and third part,firstly,it introduces in detail the components and organization forms of the navigation system,and provides theoretical basis and successful experience for navigation design.Then it puts forward four principles that must be followed in navigation design.Finally,specific navigation design strategies are proposed from the cognitive level,organizational level,and visual level.The fourth part,aiming at the usability issues of navigation strategies,we developed the new mobile library App,and conducted experiments on the efficiency of information retrieval with the new navigation design and the navigation design of the control group.The experimental results show that the new navigation design scheme can effectively promote improved user information retrieval efficiency.
